BUDAPEST - VIENNA - MELK - PASSAU - FRANKFURT - MAINZ - STRASBOURG - RÜDESHEIM - COLOGNE - DÜSSELDORF - AMSTERDAM

DAY 1: BUDAPEST

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. After dinner, enjoy a free evening or attend an evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.

DAY 2: BUDAPEST

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the city. Considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Budapest is a surprising mix of historical ruins and modern living.
DISCOVERY: Budapest by bike. You'll see all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other legendary sites in Budapest.
We'll return on board in Esztergom. In the afternoon, enjoy some time on your own exploring Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary. The city is full of treasures such as the Neo-classical basilica and former Royal palace. We'll return on board and leave for Vienna. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

DAY 3: BUDAPEST - VIENNA

We'll arrive in Vienna. This afternoon, enjoy time on your own or join us for an excursion for both packages: The Hofburg Palace. Enjoy a free evening or join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour of Vienna by night.
DISCOVERY: Waltzing lessons on board.

DAY 4: VIENNA

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Schönbrunn Palace and part of the city. Vienna, the cradle of music, is streaming with activity around the cathedral, the opera, and Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Emperor of Austria and his family.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus(1) concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.
We'll return to the ship. You'll be free to explore the city on your own in the afternoon. Join us for an optional (not included in the packages) excursion: Horse-drawn carriage ride though Vienna.
After dinner, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability.)
Our ship will depart at midnight.

DAY 5: MELK - PASSAU

We'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley all the way to Melk. Join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. We'll return to the ship. In the afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: Guided tour of the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. We'll return on board and leave for Passau. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

DAY 6: PASSAU

In the morning, explore Passau in the company of our hostess, strolling the narrow romantic streets and admiring is Baroque-style buildings. We'll cruise to Regensburg.

DAY 7: REGENSBURG - HILPOSTEIN

Join us on an excursion for both packages: Tour of Regensburg. The fourth biggest town in Bavaria and a major industrial hub for giant firms such as BMW, Siemens and Triumph, its historic center is seeping with 20 centuries of history. Our ship will continue on to Kelheim, where we'll find it at the end of the morning. Then, we’ll cruise the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to Hilpolstein.

DAY 8: HILPOSTEIN - NUREMBERG - BAMBERG

We'll arrive in Nuremberg. Join us on an excursion for both packages: Tour of Nuremberg. Nuremberg is Bavaria’s second-largest city and an energetic place where the nightlife is intense and the beer is as dark as coffee. During our tour of the city, the ship will sail to Erlangen. We'll cruise to Bamberg.

DAY 9: BAMBERG - ROTHENBURG

We'll spend the morning cruising to Schweinfurt. Join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and workshops. It is one of the most beautiful towns on the historic Romantic Road. During our tour, the ship will sail to Kitzingen.

DAY 10: WURTZBURG - WERTHEIM

Join us on an excursion for both packages: Tour of Wurtzburg, nestled in a beautiful, hilly location on the river and possessing a wealth of history. Our ship will continue on to Karlstadt, where we'll board it again at the end of the morning. We'll spend the afternoon cruising to Wertheim.

DAY 11: WERTHEIM - MILTENBERG - ASCHAFFENBURG

You’ll explore Miltenberg in the company of our hostess and discover this charming, very typical German village. We'll cruise to Aschaffenburg.

DAY 12: ASCHAFFENBURG - FRANKFURT - MAINZ

We'll cruise to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour of Frankfurt, the largest financial center in continental Europe.
DISCOVERY: Discover "Mainhattan" and ascend the Main tower.
We'll cruise to Mainz. Mainz lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main is a perfect blend of past and present. We'll arrive in the late afternoon when you'll be able to explore the city in the company of our hostess. Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.

DAY 13: MAINZ - STRASBOURG

We'll spend the morning cruising to Strasbourg. After passing through two impressive locks on the Rhine Iffezheim and Gambsheim we'll arrive in Strasbourg. In the afternoon, join us for a guided visit of Strasbourg. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own. We'll enjoy dinner before setting off on a river boat tour (subject to availability.)

DAY 14: STRASBOURG - RÜDESHEIM

We'll spend the morning cruising to Rüdesheim. Enjoy some free time exploring the town on your own, or join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit of the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments and tour the city on board a tourist train. After dinner, we'll walk you to the famous Drosselgasse and enjoy its numerous cafés, bars and music.

DAY 15: RÜDESHEIM - COLOGNE - DÜSSELDORF

We'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the romantic Rhine, passing the legendary Lorelei Rock, where lush vineyards and castles stretch as far as the eye can see along both banks. We'll cruise to Cologne, passing Koblenz and Bonn. Take advantage of a 2-hour stopover to visit the city with your hostess. We'll then return to the ship and begin to cruise towards Düsseldorf. Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.

DAY 16: DÜSSELDORF - AMSTERDAM

After crossing the border in Emmerich, we'll continue cruising and reach Amsterdam in the evening. Enjoy some free time in the city, or spend the evening on an excursion for both packages: Canal boat tour to discover the city at night.

DAY 17: AMSTERDAM

Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Amsterdam and visit to a diamond merchant's. The Dutch capital is indeed a truly delightful city with a rich and fascinating past, offering its visitors a striking contrast between traditional Dutch architecture and other more unusual landmarks such as the Red Light district.
DISCOVERY: Amsterdam by bike.
This afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: Visit the Keukenhof Gardens (open from mid-March until mid-May.) During the rest of the year, we'll head out on a tour of Volendam and the Zaanse Schans. The evening is free to do as you please. Or why not discover the famous Red Light District through an optional tour?

DAY 18: AMSTERDAM

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.

For navigational safety reasons, the company and the captain are the only authorized persons who can modify the cruise itinerary. (1) The tour of the Konzerthaus might be replaced by a tour of the Musikverein or the opera if it is booked for shows or not available. Alcohol can be harmful to your health. Please drink in moderation.
