HONFLEUR - THE FLORAL COAST - ROUEN - VERNON - PARIS - Luxembourg - TRIER - COCHEM - MAINZ - STRASBOURG

DAY 1: HONFLEUR

Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m. in Honfleur. After comfortably settling into your cabin, join us for a welcome cocktail. Enjoy dinner and an evening of onboard entertainment.

DAY 2: HONFLEUR - DUCLAIR Honfleur and the Côte Fleurie

All meals served on board. We’ll set off on a guided tour of Honfleur and its fishing port. You'll discover picturesque streets lined with old houses, the salt warehouses and Saint Catherine's Church, the largest wooden church in France. We’ll return on board before an excursion to the Côte Fleurie. Along the tour, we will go past Trouville and Deauville, which became the hot spot for well-to-do Parisians and film stars from all over the world in the 19th century. The visit ends with a tasting of Calvados! When we return on board we’ll begin to cruise to Duclair.

DAY 3: DUCLAIR - ROUENThe Norman Abbey Circuit and Rouen

All meals served on board. We’ll set out on the Norman Abbey Circuit to discover Jumiège and the ruins of one of the most magnificent abbeys in France, as well as the Church of Saint Peter. Afterwards, we’ll return on board and cruise towards Rouen. In the afternoon, join us for a guided tour of the city, including the cathedral, historic neighborhoods, and the “Place du Vieux Marché" where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. We'll then return on board and depart for Paris.

DAY 4: MANTES-LA-JOLIE - POISSY - PARIS Palace of Versailles

All meals served on board. We’ll stop in Mantes-la-Jolie for a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles (1). The palace is closed on Mondays. The visit will then be replaced by a tour of the Château de Malmaison (2). We’ll return on board in Poissy and continue on to Paris, cruising through the impressive concrete and glass buildings of the futuristic business district of La Défense. Tonight will be our festive gala evening as we enter Paris at night.

DAY 5: PARIS - Luxembourg

After breakfast, we will head towards Luxembourg (with a stop for lunch on the way). Join us for a tour on foot of Luxembourg to see the major sites: The Place d’Armes, Place de la Constitution, government district, Chemin de la Corniche, Monument of the Millennium, the old town, Palace of the Grand Dukes (from outside) and Place Guillaume II. We will then head towards Trier. We’ll board the second ship at 7:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabin, join us for a welcome cocktail. Enjoy dinner and an evening of onboard entertainment. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 6: TRIER - COCHEM Trier and the Moselle Valley

All meals served on board. In the morning, we’ll set off on an optional guided tour of the city and its Roman ruins. In the afternoon, we will cruise along the Moselle River. Kick back and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Tonight's entertainment will be provided by the crew.

DAY 7: COCHEM - KOBLENZ Cochem and the Moselle Valley

All meals served on board. In the morning, join us for a guided tour of Cochem Castle. The castle, also known as Reichsburg, sits almost 329 feet above the valley with its towers pointing high in the sky. In the afternoon, we will cruise towards Koblenz. In the evening, set off to explore the city in the company of our hostess. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 8: KOBLENZ - MAINZ  The Romantic Rhine Valley

All meals served on board. We'll enjoy breakfast on board as we cruise along the most beautiful section of the romantic Rhine, passing the legendary Lorelei rock, where lush vineyards and castles stretch as far as the eye can see along both banks. Later, join us for a guided tour of Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum. Mainz was founded more than 2,000 years ago by the Romans and is currently the capital of the Rhine-Palatinate. In the 17th and 18th centuries, top architects and sculptors enhanced the basic shape of the town with fine palaces and churches. Finally, we’ll visit the Gutenberg Museum (closed on Mondays). This world-famous museum of book printing houses two copies of the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed with movable type in the West. We'll return on board in Worms for our gala evening as we continue to cruise towards Strasbourg.

DAY 9: STRASBOURG

Enjoy breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. in Strasbourg.

 

 

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. (1) Available for a minimum of 35 persons otherwise this excursion will be replaced by the visit of Malmaison Château. For the Versailles Château excursion, there is a charge for entry into the gardens on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October and on Tuesdays from July to October because of special events: Musical Fountains Show (Saturday-Sunday / €8.50 per pers.), Musical Gardens (Tuesday / €7.50 per pers.). On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, garden access is free. (2) The Malmaison Château is closed on Tuesday, so if the stop falls on a Tuesday, the optional guided tour will be at Auvers-sur-Oise Château. Alcohol can damage your health. Please drink in moderation.
