DAY 2: BASEL
All meals served on board. We’ll spend the morning cruising the Grand Canal of Alsace until we reach Basel right before lunch. We’ll then leave by coach for an excursion to the Rhine Falls. The Rhine Falls are among the most spectacular sites to visit in Switzerland. You’ll also discover the Laufen Castle, and its impressive view overlooking the rumbling cascades.
Tonight’s dinner will be followed by an evening of dancing on board. During the night, our ship will leave for Breisach.
DAY 3: BREISACH
All meals served on board. Take advantage of some free time this morning to explore Breisach, a former Celtic and Roman settlement that is now a lovely German city along the Rhine. In the afternoon, we'll go on an optional excursion to Titisee. The undeniable charm and ease of access to this area make it one of the Black Forest’s most coveted sites. Enjoy an evening of entertainment on board. We’ll remain in port overnight.
DAY 4: BREISACH - RHINAU
All meals served on board. Relax on board or join in on a few of our planned activities as we spend the morning cruising to Rhinau. The afternoon will be dedicated to an optional journey along the Alsatian Wine Route. We’ll then visit the Strasbourg Cathedral, widely considered to be among the finest examples of high-Gothic architecture.
We’ll spend the afternoon on an optional tour along the picturesque routes in northern Alsace. We’ll visit Seebach, one of the most picturesque villages in France. During our excursion, the ship will cruise to Gambsheim, where we will board it once again at the end of our day. During the night, we’ll cruise to Strasbourg. Tonight will be our gala dinner and evening onboard.
