DAY 1 STRASBOURG - SALZBURG
Meeting early in the morning in Strasbourg. Departure by coach to Austria. Stop for a free lunch. Arrival in Salzburg Check into the hotel*** (NL) in the immediate vicinity. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2 SALZBURG
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning devoted to the guided tour of Salzburg. The birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, it has managed to preserve an urban fabric of exceptional richness built up between the Middle Ages and the 19th century. Lunch in Salzburg. In the afternoon, excursion to the “Salzkammergut” lake region: Fuschlsee, Wolfgansee, Bad Ischel, Mondsee, discover the wonderful natural landscapes that this region of Austria has to offer. Back to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3 SALZBURG – BUDAPEST
Departure by coach for Budapest. Lunch on the way. Across the Austro-Hungarian border. Arrival in Budapest at the end of the afternoon. Boarding. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. Dinner on board. Optional excursion common for both packages : traditional evening in Budapest.
DAY 4 BUDAPEST - BRATISLAVA
Optional excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : guided tour of Budapest, the incarnation of the sharp contrast between twin cities divided by the Danube and united since 1872.
DISCOVERY : bike tour of Budapest, you’ll see all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other of the legendary sites in Budapest.
Afternoon spent cruising to Bratislava.
DAY 5 BRATISLAVA - VIENNA
Early ion the morning, arrival in Bratislava. Optional excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : guided tour of Bratislava. The charm of the Slovakian capital lies in its old city: splendid Baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares.
DISCOVERY : Hiking in Bratislava, the Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, we’ll take in the splendid view of Bratislava.
Cruise to Vienna. Free evening or optional excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : Vienna by night.
DISCOVERY : Onboard waltzing lessons.
DAY 6 VIENNA
Optional excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : visit to Schœnbrunn castle, summer residence of the imperial family and part of Vienna.
DISCOVERY : The high art of Viennese living: music and Viennese cafes. We’ll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.
Afternoon, optional excursion common for both packages : visit to the Hofburg, the Hapsburg Palace houses the crown jewels and sumptuous imperial apartments. After dinner, optional excursions proposed :
CLASSIC : concert of Viennese music (dependent on availability).
DISCOVERY : An evening in Grinzing, a village on the outskirts of the city still holding much of its traditional charm and convivial atmosphere. You’ll have a seat in a famous Heuriger tavern, where you’ll be able to taste the local wines and other specialties from the region surrounded by authentic ambiance.

DAY 7 MELK - PASSAU
Cruise up the most beautiful section of the Wachau. Arrival in Melk. Optional excursion common for both packages : excursion to Durnstein, the most well known picturesque village in the Wachau. Famous for its legend of King Richard the Lionhearted, Dürnstein has a church in the Baroque style. In the afternoon, optional excursion common for both packages : visit to the abbey of Melk. Atop a rocky outcrop which overlooks the Danube from a height of more than 50m, it is the symbol of the most complete expression of Baroque Art in Austria. Cruise to Passau. Gala evening.
DAY 8: PASSAU - Strasbourg
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation and discover Passau and lunch in Passau. Around 2.00pm, departure by coach to Strasbourg. Arrival around 8.00pm. End of our journey.
