Description

Departure by coach from Valence d’Agen with your guide to visit the charming village of Auvillar, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. First established as a Gallo-Roman settlement, Auvillar suffered many invasions, especially by the Normans, until the eleventh century. We’ll stop in the market square to admire its circular corn exchange – the only one of its kind in Southwest France. Our visit will be followed by a tasting of local products. The visit will be brighten up by the visit of earthenware and shipping museums. We’ll return on board at the end of the morning or the afternoon.
