We'll leave by coach for Niagara-on-the-Lake, near Niagara Falls. The formation of Niagara Falls has been a slow process that still continues today. The falls began in the Ice Age, when large torrents of water were released from the melting ice, draining into what is now known as the Niagara River. This exceptional natural wonder displays the rare beauty of three side-by-side falls: the Horseshoe Falls (also known as the Canadian Falls), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Its vertical height is over 176 feet in some sections. During peak periods in the summer and fall, more than 700,000 gallons of water per second pour over Niagara Falls.
Although to some visitors it might seem like a tourist trap, the beauty of the falls outweighs the industry that has built up around them.
Join us for the excursion to see the Niagara Falls, a true once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After our tour, we'll return to the port in Toronto.
