Description

We'll leave by coach for Niagara-on-the-Lake, near Niagara Falls. The formation of Niagara Falls has been a slow process that still continues today. The falls began in the Ice Age, when large torrents of water were released from the melting ice, draining into what is now known as the Niagara River. This exceptional natural wonder displays the rare beauty of three side-by-side falls: the Horseshoe Falls (also known as the Canadian Falls), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Its vertical height is over 176 feet in some sections. During peak periods in the summer and fall, more than 700,000 gallons of water per second pour over Niagara Falls.

Then, welcome aboard the Hornblower for an unforgettable ride close to the falls that a majority of websites call a five-star adventure.
The powerful boats bring you across the turbulent waters to the bottom of both the American and Canadian sides of the falls.
Nothing is more impressive than getting close to the thundering power of the falling water.
We'll return to Niagara-on-the-Lake by coach.
