Description

Description

Leave on foot from the ship for a guided tour of Venice, where every corner, monument, Church or museum contains a piece of history or fascinating tale. You’ll discover the city and more specifically the Church of Santa Maria della Visitazione, also known as the Church of the Pietà—designed by the architect Giorgio Massari and built between 1745 and 1760. We’ll also visit the Santa Maria dei Derelitti (Ospedaletto) Church, once in a hospital that cared for the poor and infirm. The current church has an opulent facade and collection of works of art from the 17th and 18th centuries.
