Monkey Island and its private reserve

Description

Description

We’ll take small boats to Monkey Island. The island is 250 hectares and serves as home to 7 species of monkeys (howlers, capuchins, titis, and pygmy marmosets). An NGO protects and preserves this reserve. Its members take care of orphaned monkeys and those that were captured for financial profit. They prepare the animals to be reinserted into their natural habitat. We’ll return on board for lunch.
