Description

Transfer by coach from Linz. The Saint Florian monastery, the greatest of Austria, has been occupied since the 11th century by Augustinian canons. The current buildings, of a higher baroque style, were rebuilt during the 18th century, under the authority of Jakob Prandtauer. The well-known songwriter Anton Bruckner has been buried in the crypt. The visit includes the library decorated with baroque marquetries and paintings, the room of marble figured with frescos and paintings of the church.
