DAY 1: AVIGNON

Boarding is from 6.00pm. Welcome on board, check-in and crew presentation. Dinner on board. Evening of Christmas traditions. Moor for the night in Avignon.

DAY 2: AVIGNON - TARASCON

We'll visit the Pope's Palace, the most important monument in Avignon. Afterwards, we'll have a look at the large nativity scene at the town hall. After our tour, we’ll return to the ship and cruise towards Tarascon, arriving in late afternoon. This evening’s dinner will have a holiday theme. We’ll remain in port overnight.

DAY 3: TARASCON - ARLES - AIGUES MORTES

We’ll have a visit to a candle factory (1) this morning to discover the unique scents and colors of this traditional craftsmanship. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Arles. Upon arrival, we'll head to Paradou to visit the museum displaying more than 400 different santons. La Petite Provence du Paradou is reputed to be one of the largest nativities in the world. Each remarkable, life-like santon is based on a character from the books of Alphonse Daudet and Marcel Pagnol. We’ll then return to Arles and visit the santon exhibition and tradeshow, displaying almost 300 years of this local tradition—from the very first models to the latest creations. After our visit, we'll return to the ship on foot. This evening’s dinner will have a holiday theme. We’ll remain in port overnight.

DAY 4: AIGUES-MORTES

We’ll spend the morning cruising to Aigues-Mortes, which we’ll visit by coach in the afternoon. In the Middle Ages, the city began as a settlement of reed huts, with its inhabitants making their living from fishing, hunting and salt production from the small marshes along the shore. Much later, it became a fortified city because of its strategic location and is now one of the most beautiful historical sites in Provence. We’ll finish our tour with a tasting of the traditional sweet fougasse: a delicious light, ?at brioche with a subtle orange ?ower flavor. You’ll have some free time to explore before heading back to the ship. Tonight is our festive gala evening. We’ll remain in port overnight.

DAY 5: AIGUES-MORTES - Avignon

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. You’ll be transferred to Avignon by coach, arriving at approximately 10:30 a.m. End of our services.
