HONFLEUR - DUCLAIR - ROUEN - VERNON - PARIS

DAY 1: HONFLEUR

Passengers are welcome to board between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Honfleur. Enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner. The evening is free to do as you please. The ship will remain in port overnight.

DAY 2: HONFLEUR - DUCLAIR

Our arrival time in Honfleur will depend on the tides.
Optional excursion for both packages: Honfleur and Pont l'Evêque. Leave by coach for Pont l'Evêque, a charming Norman city. We'll take a guided tour and see such sites as the gardens of the former Dominican convent. We'll continue our tour with a tasting of the small, square-shaped cheese that has carried the town's name since the 12th century. We'll then return to Honfleur for a guided tour on foot. Our tour will finish with a visit to Saint Léonard Church.
Optional afternoon excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: We'll leave from Honfleur by coach for an excursion along the Côte Fleurie. We’ll pass through Trouville and Deauville and enjoy a tour of the famous Calvados distillery.
DISCOVERY: The Cote Fleurie, Deauville and its artist villas. Our first stop will be Deauville, one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in all of France. We'll continue on to the Château du Breuil.
Or full-day guided tour (lunch included) to the Landing Beaches (only as a pre-booked tour and a minimum of 30 participants). Departure by coach to reach Pointe du Hoc, seeing Omaha Beach and Coleville-sur-Mer and its American cemetery on the way. We'll stop in Arromanches after lunch to watch the film “The Price of Liberty.”
We'll then depart on our cruise, with the departure time depending on the tides.

DAY 3: DUCLAIR - ROUEN

Today, we'll journey through magnificent landscapes of steep cliffs with charming villages nestled below.
Join us for an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour on the Norman Abbey Circuit to see the Abbey of Saint Wandrille (exterior). We’ll discover Jumiège and the ruins of one of the most magnificent abbeys in France, as well as the Church of Saint Peter.
We'll return on board at 6:00 p.m.

DAY 4: ROUEN - VERNON

Enjoy the morning cruise through broad limestone cliffs.
Optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of the city, including the cathedral, historic neighborhoods, and the “Place du Vieux Marché" where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
After our tour, we'll return to the ship. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 5: VERNON - PARIS

We'll begin to cruise early in the morning for Mantes-la-Jolie.
Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour of the Palace of Versailles (2) (reservation in advance is essential - see your travel agency). Closed on Monday; replaced by visit to the Château de Malmaison(3).
DISCOVERY: Bike tour through Versailles gardens. Visit Versailles in a whole new way: on a bicycle! This bike tour will bring you to the most beautiful parts of the park and gardens.
The afternoon will be spent cruising through the impressive concrete and glass buildings of the futuristic business district of La Défense. We’ll arrive in Paris in the evening. The ship will remain in port overnight.

DAY 6: PARIS

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Half-day guided tour exploring the legendary places in the city, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées.
DISCOVERY: Stroll on the banks of the Seine and over the bridges of Paris. We'll set out from the Quai de Grenelle for a stroll along the banks of the Seine. The banks of the Seine were added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1991.
Optional excursion not included in the packages: Tour Paris in a vintage 2CV. Experience true vintage style as you cruise in a comfortable and completely refurbished 2CV. It's fun, it's fabulous, and it's so French! Relax in the comfort of a refurbished 2CV while you listen to your guide tell you all about the “City of Light.”
Enjoy a free afternoon in Paris.

DAY 7: PARIS

Enjoy breakfast before disembarking at 9:00 a.m.

 

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. The cruise schedule may vary according to tides and arrival times at ports of call may be subject to change. (1) Optional excursions. (2) Available for a minimum of 35 persons, otherwise this excursion will be replaced by the visit of Malmaison Château. (3) The Malmaison Château is closed on Tuesday, so if the stop falls on a Tuesday, the guided tour will be at Auvers-sur-Oise Château. Alcohol can damage your health. Please drink in moderation.
