Follow us on a guided tour of the city following the footsteps of the impressionists, and on to a visit of the Daubigny Museum that houses the works of Charles François Daubigny in the setting of the Manoir des Colombières, a beautiful 17th century manor. In 2017, we’ll celebrate the bicentennial of Daubigny’s birth. In the afternoon, you will get the chance to visit the Musée Marmottan in Paris. This museum houses the largest collection of paintings by Claude Monet and provides an overview of how his work developed, from the first caricatures of his youth to the water lilies, his mature works (museum closed on Mondays, replaced by the visit of Parc de l'Orangerie). After this visit, we will return on board for a cruise on the Seine by night. We’ll remain in port overnight.

The visit will start with the abby of Saint-Wandrille (outdoor), then we will continue our visit to Jumièges where stands the ruins of one of the most beautiful french abbey, as well as the Saint-Pierre Church which represent one of the finest example of the architecture of the 10th Century.
