STRASBOURG - COLOGNE - THE ROMANTIC RHINE - AMSTERDAM - STRASBOURG

DECEMBER 23: STRASBOURG

Boarding from 3:00 p.m. in Strasbourg (gare fluviale, rue du Havre). With our accompanist, discovering one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe, the market in Strasbourg. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. In the evening, departure of the boat. Dinner. Evening on "Tales of Christmas" theme.

DECEMBER 24: COLOGNE (and the Romantic Rhine)

Full board on board. Cruising on the most beautiful section of the Rhine. We will see numerous castles nestling in the famed vineyards and the famous Lorelei rock. Passing by the cities of Koblenz and Bonn to reach Cologne in the end of the afternoon. Guided tour in Cologne. Christmas Eve evening. Midnight mass in Cologne’s cathedral (1) (depending on available places or in another church - book and pay for transfer on board (2). Sailing by night toward Holland.

DECEMBER 25: COLOGNE - AMSTERDAM

Full board on board. Crossing the border at Emmerich. We will arrive at Tiel lock, giving us access to the canal that connects the Rhine to Amsterdam. We will cruise past the city of Utrecht and arrive in Amsterdam in the end of the afternoon. Gala evening on board.

DECEMBER 26: AMSTERDAM

Full board on board. Excursion to Volendam and the Zaanse Schans. In the afternoon, guided tour of Amsterdam, the name of the city dates back from the 12th century, when a dam was built on the Amstel River. Wander through its historic district and its canals. Overnight.

 

DECEMBER 27: AMSTERDAM - STRASBOURG

Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark around 9:00 a.m.  End of our services.

  

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. (1) Midnight Mass will be held in german. (2) The transfer is only proposed when the boat is not moored near the place of worship and is only valid for a minimum of 30 persons. Alcohol can damage your health. Please drink in moderation.
