LISBON - VILA REAL DE SANTO ANTONIO (Portugal) - ALCOUTIM - EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - CADIZ - SEVILLE

DAY 1: LISBON

In the afternoon, your room awaits you at a 3-star hotel in Lisbon. We’ll have dinner and the evening is free to do as you please.

DAY 2: LISBON

Full board on board. Guided tour of Lisbon in the morning. Discover the distinctive buildings and landmarks in this area, including its famous tower and the Jerónimos Monastery - the most prominent example of Late Gothic Manueline architecture in the country. This afternoon, panoramic tour of Lisbon by coach, and you’ll discover why it is referred to as Portugal’s “City of Light”. We’ll return to the hotel after our full day. The evening is free to do as you please.

Day 3: LISBON - VILA REAL DE SAN ANTONIO

Full board on board. We’ll leave by coach for Évora. Its beauty, simplicity and a strong historical significance make it without a doubt one of the most interesting places in Portugal to visit. After our visit, we’ll head to Olhão, the largest fishing port in the Algarve region. It’s full of character, and a stroll through the historic center lets you admire the elegant merchants’ homes and the church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, built in 1698. At the end of the afternoon, we’ll hit the road again towards Vila Réal de Santo Antonio. We’ll arrive in the evening, and you can comfortably settle into your cabins on our ship. Before dinner, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail served in our lounge. Overnight stop.

Day 4: VILA REAL DE SAN ANTONIO - ALCOUTIM - CADIZ

Full board on board. Leave Seville by coach for a guided visit of the Friary of La Rábida, where Christopher Columbus stayed for two years before his famous voyage. Then we’ll visit the Wharf of the Caravels and the replicas of Columbus’ infamous Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. The afternoon will be spent cruising the river to Alcoutim. We’ll pass through some fabulous landscapes and cruise by some timeless villages. Enjoy some free time in Alcoutim. Return on board and cruise to Cádiz. Portuguese-themed dinner and evening. We’ll cruise through the night.

Day 5: CADIZ - EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA

Full board on board. This morning, excursion to Cádiz and Sanlucar de Barrameda. Still retaining its Moorish appearance, this pastel-painted city is a melting pot of cultural and historical riches. We’ll then continue on to Sanlucar de Barrameda. We’ll visit a well-known wine cellar for a tasting of the unique Manzanilla sherry. Return on board and cruise towards El Puerto de Santa Maria. In the afternoon, visit to Jerez, the Andalusian capital of wine and horses - and the cradle of flamenco music. Our panoramic tour will take you to the cathedral and the Alcazar palace. Our tour will continue with a visit to a “ganadería” (a property where bulls are raised) and the chance to learn about this living symbol of Spanish culture. Return on board. Spanish-themed dinner and evening. Cruise towards Seville throughout the night.

DAY 6: EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - SEVILLE

Full board on board. We’ll cruise along the impressive Guadalquivir River. The river's name comes from a classical Arab phrase meaning "great valley" and reminds us of the times when the Moors reigned over Al-Andalus. This afternoon, guided tour of Seville. Discover the cathedral, the Alcazar palace and its Andalusian gardens, Maria Luisa Park, and the attractive district of Santa Cruz. Return on board. Overnight stop.

DAY 7: SEVILLE

Full board on board. Full-day trip to Córdoba, once part of the Caliphate of Cordoba. Return on board in the evening. Tonight is our festive gala evening. Overnight stop.

DAY 8: SEVILLE

Breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
