Board the ship at 4.00pm and enjoy some time to settle comfortably in your cabins before meeting the crew. At 5.00pm we set off cruising along the Danube towards the border between Austria and Germany through the attractive region of Engelhartszell. A welcome cocktail reception will be organised on board. DAY 2: PASSAU - MELK - VIENNA
Optional excursion for both packages: Visit the Melk Abbey. We'll return to the ship and cruise on to Dürnstein. Enjoy some free time exploring this picturesque village, and its Baroque-style church—the most famous in the Wachau region thanks to the legend of King Richard the Lionheart. We'll return on board before cruising on to Vienna. After our arrival, optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour the illuminated sights of Vienna.
DISCOVERY: Come to the lounge and learn to waltz with traditionally costumed dancers.
We'll remain in port overnight.
DAY 3: VIENNA - ESZTERGOM

CLASSIC: Visit Schoenbrunn Palace.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes.
Enjoy a free afternoon to explore this marvelous city at your own pace or take part in our optional excursion (not included in packages): Horse-drawn carriage ride though Vienna. We'll return to the ship and cruise to Budapest, passing Bratislava on the way. Tonight is our festival gala evening.
DAY 4: ESZTERGOM - BUDAPEST
Enjoy some time on your own exploring Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary. We'll then spend the afternoon cruising to Budapest. The Hungarian capital lies along the banks of the Danube and is one of the most attractive cities in Europe. Enjoy some free time sightseeing the city before returning to the ship. After dinner, join us for optional excursion of Budapest at night.
DAY 5: BUDAPEST
Enjoy a day on your own or join the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the city.
DISCOVERY: Budapest by bike.
In the afternoon, take part in an optional excursion to discover the Gellert Baths and Spa (not included in the packages). After dinner, enjoy another free evening on your own or join us for an optional evening of traditional dancing in the city.
DAY 6: BUDAPEST
Today either having the day for yourselves (lunch not included) or, leave on an optional day excursion for both packages: trip to Puszta. Return to the ship early evening.
DAY 7: BUDAPEST
Morning at leisure in Budapest or optional excursion for both packages: tour to Gödöllö Royal Palace. Back on board and cruising at 1.00pm towards Bratislava. Entertaining evening on board.
DAY 8: BRATISLAVA - VIENNA
Morning at leisure in Budapest or optional excursion for both packages: tour to Gödöllö Royal Palace. Back on board and cruising early afternoon towards Bratislava. Entertaining evening on board.
DAY 9: VIENNA
Free morning for individual sightseeing around Vienna. This imperial city, or optional excursion for both packages: guided visit of Vienna and the Capuchin Crypt. Return to the ship. Choose a free afternoon, or optional excursion for both packages: to Hofburg to visit the former palace of the Habsburgs and admire the crown jewels and splendid imperial apartments. After dinner, Optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: concert of Viennese music (optional and subject to availability).
DISCOVERY: An evening in Grinzing one of the most popular destinations offering a panoramic view over the entire city of Vienna.
The ship cruises on after midnight.
DAY 10: MELK - PASSAU
Morning cruising along the most beautiful stretch of the Wachau region to arrive in Melk in the morning. Free time. Return to the ship, in the afternoon, optional excursion for both packages: to Arstetten Castle, last residence of Archduke Franz-Ferdinand and his wife. Return to the ship before cruising off towards Passau. Gala evening on board.
DAY 11: PASSAU
Disembarkation at 9.00am. End of our services.
