DAY 1: Strasbourg
Boarding from 6:00 p.m. in Strasbourg (rue du Havre). Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. Dinner and departure of the boat.
DAY 2: MAINZ - FRANKFURT
Full board on board. Arrival in Mainz. This city, the birthplace of Gutenberg, lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main Rivers. It is a perfect blend of past and present with its thousand-year-old cathedral. Discovery of the town with our accompanist. Return on board and cruise to Frankfurt. Optional sightseeing tour of the city, a major hub of business and the city of Goethe. The city is a melting-pot of different cultures and languages of the world. Night spend sailing.
DAY 3: MILTENBERG - WERTHEIM
Full board on board. Arrival in Miltenberg early in the morning, discovery of this peaceful town with our accompanist. The market place lined with half-timbered houses, its fine main street, the Reisen hotel, and old Town Hall, create a peaceful and a quiet place. Sailing to Wertheim. Arrival and discovery of Wertheim on your own. Overnight.
DAY 4: WERTHEIM - WURZBURG - KITZINGEN
Full board on board. Sailing toward Karlstad. Departure by coach to Würzburg and optional visit of the town, situated on the right bank of the Main. Würzburg is famous for its baroque palace, the former residence of the bishop princes. Return on board to Würzburg and sailing to Kitzingen. Evening of entertainment. Overnight.
DAY 5: KITZINGEN - ROTHENBURG - BAMBERG
Full board on board. Sailing to Volkrach. Optional guided tour to Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river, with its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and craftsman's workshops. Return on board in Schweinfurt and sailing to Bamberg. Overnight.
DAY 6: BAMBERG - NUREMBERG - MUHLHAUSEN
Full board on board. Cruise on the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, which was opened on September 25, 1992. Arrival in Nuremberg and optional guided visit of the city which transports its visitors back to medieval times. The old town and its market place are surrounded with Gothic buildings, half-timbered houses and elegant burgher houses. A true imperial setting! Return on board and cruise toward Mulhausen. Entertainment provided by our crew. Overnight.
DAY 7: MUHLHAUSEN - REGENSBURG
Full board on board. Sailing toward Kelheim. Optional excursion to Regensburg. The historic center of the city is home to over 20 centuries of history. Return on board in Regensburg.
DAY 8: REGENSBURG - PASSAU
Full board on board. Sailing toward Passau and discovery of the town with our accompanist. Its baroque buildings and narrow romantic streets are unforgettable. Return on board and cruise through the attractive region of Engelhartszell. Evening of entertainment on board.
DAY 9: PASSAU - MELK - VIENNA
Full board on board. Arrival in Melk and optional excursion to the Benedictine abbey of Melk. Melk Abbey is the most known and visited place in the valley. Return on board and cruise to Dürnstein. In the afternoon, free visit of this picturesque village, famous in the Wachau region for King Richard the Lionhearted having been held prisoner in its castle. Return on board and cruise toward Vienna. Arrival in the evening and optional tour of the illuminated sights of Vienna. Overnight.
DAY 10: VIENNA - BUDAPEST
Full board on board. Optional guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace and a part of Vienna, the Austrian capital and a romantic town. Return on board. In the afternoon, free time. Discovery this magnificent city on your own. Return on board and cruise to Esztergom. Passing through Bratislava. Gala dinner and dancing evening.
DAY 11: BUDAPEST
Full board on board. Free visit of Esztergom, the former capital of Hungary, under the reign of the Arpad kings. Cruise to Budapest, called the "Pearl of the Danube". The Hungarian capital, which lies along the banks of the Danube. Free time. Optional visit of Budapest by night.
DAY 12: BUDAPEST
Full board on board. Sightseeing tour of the city. Buda with its hill and valley, Pest with its flat expanse, the panoramic view on the Danube is registered in th UNESCO World Heritage. Traditional folk evening in Budapest.
DAY 13: BUDAPEST - SALZURG
Full board. Departure by coach to Salzburg. Passing through customs at the Austrian-Hungarian border. Arrival in the surrounding of Salzburg in the afternoon. Night spend in a 3-star hotel. Free evening.
DAY 14: SALZURG - Strasbourg
Breakfast in the hotel. Guided tour of Salzburg. Marked by a rich past, the city is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage for its Renaissance architecture. Departure to France. Stop for a free lunch. Arrival in Strasbourg (gare fluviale, rue du Havre) in the evening. End of our services.
