DAY 1: SEVILLE
Passengers are welcome to board our first ship at 5:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail followed by dinner onboard. Enjoy some free time in Seville this evening. We'll remain in port overnight.
DAY 2: SEVILLE
We'll leave by coach in the morning. Join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Full-day trip to Córdoba, once part of the Caliphate of Cordoba.
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Leave Seville by coach for Córdoba. Tour the beautiful courtyards of Córdoba. The festival celebrating the courtyards was added to the UNESCO Intangible Heritage list in 2012. The courtyards are located in the historical heart of the Jewish Quarter, close to the Alcazar. Afterwards, we'll return to the ship. Enjoy an evening of Spanish-themed entertainment.
DAY 3: SEVILLE - EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA
This morning, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour of Seville. Discover the cathedral, Alcazar palace and its Andalusian gardens, Maria Luisa Park, and the attractive district of Santa Cruz.
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Guided bike tour of Seville. The best way to see everything in a few hours! Each participant will be able to choose their own bike for this morning guided tour of Seville.
We'll spend the afternoon cruising along the impressive Guadalquivir River towards El Puerto de Santa Maria. Tonight's entertainment will be provided by the crew.
DAY 4: EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - CADIZ
This morning, join us on an excursion both packages: Visit Jerez and a “ganadería” (property where bulls are raised). We’ll return on board and cruise towards Cadiz. In the afternoon, join us for the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Excursion to Cádiz and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Still retaining its Moorish appearance, the pastel-painted city of Cádiz is a melting pot of cultural and historical riches. We'll then continue on to Sanlúcar de Barrameda. We'll visit a well-known wine cellar for a tasting of the unique Manzanilla sherry.
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Hike the waterfront in Cadiz. Walk along the oceanfront to the Castle of San Sebastián. According to legend, the Temple of Kronos (a Titan of the Greek gods) was first built here.
Afterwards, we'll return to the ship and enjoy a Portuguese-themed evening. We'll cruise towards Alcoutim throughout the night.
DAY 5: ALCOUTIM - VILA REAL DE SAN ANTONIO (Portugal)
We’ll cruise along the Guadiana River towards Alcoutim. Enjoy some free time before we cruise on towards Vila Real de San Antonio. This afternoon, join us on an excursion for both packages: Tour of the Friary of La Rábida and the Wharf of Christopher Columbus’s Caravels. Tonight’s our gala dinner and evening.
DAY 6: VILA REAL DE SAN ANTONIO - LISBON
We'll head to Olhão, the largest fishing port in the Algarve region. It's full of character, and a stroll through the historic center will give you the chance to admire the elegant merchants' homes and the church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, built in 1698. Then we'll go to Evora. Its cobblestone streets, exceptional monuments and splendid architecture create the feeling of a veritable “open-air museum.” At the end of the day, we'll travel to Lisbon, arriving in the evening, and then settle into a 3-star hotel. Dinner is provided this evening.
DAY 7: LISBON
We'll have a guided tour of Lisbon in the morning. Discover the distinctive buildings and landmarks in this area, including its famous tower and the Jerónimos Monastery the most prominent example of Late Gothic Manueline architecture in the country. In the afternoon, join us for a panoramic tour of Lisbon (known as Portugal's “City of Lights”) and discover the São Jorge Castle, as well as the traditional neighborhoods of Alfama and Mouraria. We’ll return to the hotel. The evening is free to do as you please.
DAY 8: LISBON
Breakfast will be served at the hotel this morning. End of our services.
