Passengers are welcome to board at 6:00 p.m. in Dinant. After you’ve comfortably settled in your cabin, we’ll introduce our crew during our welcome cocktail party. We’ll enjoy dinner on board and then join in on a walking tour of Dinant’s old town. We will remain in port overnight.
DAY 2: DINANT - NAMUR
You’ll have breakfast on board this morning as we cruise down the Meuse River to Namur, passing through several locks on the way. Lunch will be served on board before reaching Namur around 1:00 p.m. This charming town lies at the junction of the Sambre and Meuse Rivers. Enjoy a guided tour of the town and visit the historic center, before continuing on foot through the picturesque narrow streets and visiting the old quarters. Tonight, we’ll enjoy our gala dinner and evening on board. We will remain in port overnight.
DAY 3: NAMUR - MONS
We’ll get an early start this morning as you enjoy breakfast cruising up the Sambre River, passing through several locks. We’ll stop off at the lock in Auvelais for an excursion to the Aulne Abbey, followed by a visit to the Val de Sambre brewery. We’ll have lunch while cruising along the Brussels-Charleroi Canal, passing through the locks and arriving in Seneffe. Here, the canal branches off into the Nimy-Blanton-Péronnes Canal, allowing us to continue on through to the Strepy-Thieu boat lift. For the moment, the Strepy-Thieu boat lift is the tallest in the world. Dinner will be served on board as we pass through two more locks and reach Mons around 8.00 p.m. We’ll remain in port overnight.
DAY 4: MONS - TOURNAI - OUDENARDE - LOVENDEGEN
We’ll have breakfast on board before leaving on an excursion to the Château de Belœil, which was the home to princes for over six centuries and boasts a rich collection of antiques from between the 15th and 19th centuries, not to mention a famous library with over 20,000 works. A tourist train will take you across the huge 17th century park, which stretches over 62 acres, to admire the most beautiful formal gardens in Europe. In the meantime, our ship will cruise on along the Nimy-Blanton-Péronnes Canal to Péronnes-Lez-Antoing, where we will join it around noon for lunch. We’ll set sail again towards Tournai, arriving there around 2:00 p.m. for a guided tour. Before becoming a Royal city under the Salian Franks, it was a Roman town and played an active role in the spectacular development of Northern Europe. The city has kept a great number of treasures from that period: its half-Romanesque, half-Gothic cathedral, Grand-Place and “Bridge of Holes”. We’ll rejoin to the ship around 5:00 p.m. in Oudenarde. Enjoy some free time sightseeing by yourself or join our onboard host/hostess on a walking tour of the town. We’ll return back to the ship for the gala dinner and evening, before cruising off towards Lovendegen.
DAY 5: GHENT - BRUGES - OSTEND

Founded in the 7th century, Ghent is one of the most authentic historical cities full of magnificent buildings dating from the Middle Ages. We will rejoin to the boat in Bruges for lunch. At 1:00 p.m., we’ll set off by coach for an excursion to picturesque Bruges. Well-known for its lace production and filled with a quaint, old-fashioned charm, Bruges has been one of the most important cultural centers in northern Europe for some 200 years.
