Join us for a guided tour of Antoni Gaudi&rsquo;s magnum opus, La Sagrada Familia. Five generations have watched the cathedral being built, and it is still a work in progress. The work of art contains never-before-seen building and structural systems suffused with symbolism and the utmost care in every detail. We&rsquo;ll continue our celebration of Gaudi at the Park G&uuml;ell, perched on the hills of the city. The park is designed to bring the peace and calm expected from nature, contrasted with the fantastically shaped roofs and unusual pinnacles dotting the buildings.

Guided tour of La Sagrada Familia

Barcelona stands out for its culture, climate, food, and especially, its festive atmosphere. It&rsquo;s hard to be bored when in Barcelona! The exuberant city, dotted with Gothic and Gaudi architecture, feels like an eternal vacation. During our panoramic tour, you&rsquo;ll see the top sites in the city including the Gothic Quarter and the tree-lined pedestrian street, La Rambla. You&rsquo;ll also stop off at La Boqueria Market for a taste of some Spanish cold cuts.

Guided tour of Barcelona

Cartagena is a vibrant seaside resort with a diverse history of rulers&mdash;Carthaginians, Romans, Moors, and the Kingdom of Castile, to name just a few. It&rsquo;s a compact city, with an overabundance of historical attractions. We&rsquo;ll learn about the city&rsquo;s rich heritage on a tour of the old town and the harbor. A panoramic elevator will bring you to the fortified Castillo de la Concepci&oacute;n, where you&rsquo;ll be able to take in the wonderful views before visiting the fort. The site originated as a Roman temple, evolved into a Moorish fort, and subsequently turned into a medieval citadel. The castle was used up to the Spanish Civil war as a strategic lookout.

Cartagena

We&#39;ll leave from Malaga and head for Granada. Granada is the former capital of the last Islamic realm in southern Iberia&mdash;a kingdom that left its mark on the architectural heritage of the area you will discover today. We will visit the Alhambra, whose translation from Arabic&mdash;The Red One&mdash;refers to the sun-dried bricks used to build the fortress&#39;s outer walls. This true wonder of Moorish art stands as one of the most prestigious testimonies of Muslim presence in Spain. We&#39;ll then wander through the gorgeous gardens and courtyards of the Generalife, the former summer palace of the Nasrid rulers. Full-day trip to Granada

Located along the Costa del Sol, under the watchful eye of the Castillo de Gibralfaro, sits the vibrant city of Malaga. Malaga is much more than a seaside resort as it is home to some fantastic museums, including one dedicated to its native son, Pablo Picasso. We&rsquo;ll take a stroll through the historic center to see some of the main sites, including the Alcazaba fortress and the Roman theater. After, we&rsquo;ll visit the cathedral before heading to the Picasso Museum, devoted to the influential, 20th-century artist.

Guided tour of Malaga and the Picasso Museum

The Palamos Fishing Museum has a rich collection of past, present, and future tools and objects for fishing off the Costa Brava coast. This is the only museum dedicated to this theme in the Mediterranean. One of the highlights is being able to board actual fishing vessels. Afterwards, we&rsquo;ll head to the magnificent Bodega Brugarol wine cellar. Located just a few miles from the coastline, this vineyard is known for its excellent organic wines. We&rsquo;ll visit the underground cellars built right below the vineyard to learn about the age-old (and new) processes they use. Our tour will take us through the shadowy labyrinth of cool, insulated rooms where wine notes are cultivated. We&rsquo;ll enjoy a tasting of the organic wines with cheese and Spanish cold cuts.

Palamos, fishing museum and bogeda

The remains of the monumental complex that includes the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes are an excellent example of a medieval settlement. Experts believe the style is uniquely autochthonous.&nbsp; Different legends recount the origins of the site, but the first traces of a religious point date back to the 9th century. It was the center of the Church&rsquo;s power in the region from the 11th to 14th century. The monks departed from the monastery in 1798, and the structure fell into ruin. It was declared a historical monument in 1930 and has been meticulously restored in several phases over the past 90 years. We&rsquo;ll visit the church, monastic cells, dining room, and several annexes within the complex.

Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes

Tarragona is the oldest Roman settlement on the Iberian Peninsula with a deep history that can be felt on every street corner. The city still retains a medieval feel to it as well, with a strictly Catalan flair. We&rsquo;ll begin our tour at the Roman ruins, where we&rsquo;ll visit the amphitheater and the Roman circus.

We&rsquo;ll then jump a half millennium forward as we tour the cathedral, the ramparts, and the ruins of the Jewish Quarter.
