Hiking cruises: combine cruising and hiking

CroisiEurope and the Club Vosgien of Strasbourg have come together to promote a new form of activity, combining cruising and hiking. Rivers often flow at the bottom of valleys bordered by slopes with remarkable beauties.


CroisiRando cruises include:

  • All hiking excursions on the itinerary.
  • Supervision by one or more approved mountain guides
  • Guided tours and excursions: this is the "accompanying" program
  • Full board


Vineyards and castles are the witnesses of human activity. It was therefore logical to combine the tranquility of a cruise on the water, with hiking, which adopts the same pace along the trails.

The goal of a hiking cruise is not to break records, but to make the most of the charm of the landscape, combining the effort of hiking.

It is for this reason, that we offer hikes of a duration of two to three hours of walk at a calm pace. For some cruises, it is possible that a full day trip is offered.
