Guided tour of the Palais des Papes and wine tasting

An imposing fortress and sumptuous palace, the Palais des Papes is a symbol of the power of Christianity in the Middle Ages and hosted seven sovereign pontiffs in the 14th century. As you explore the rooms of the largest Gothic palace in the world, the tour will retrace the lives of the pontiffs and their political and religious power. You will notably admire the grand ceremonial halls, the chapels and the private apartments of the Popes.
You will then enjoy a tasting of a selection of regional wines before returning on board.
